	Notes: Like all of my landscapes, vibrant colours are a main feature of my paintings. In this work I wanted to juxtapose the ancient crumbling ruins in the foreground with the new glistening tower in the background. The vegetation was painted quickly with little detail so as to provide the illusion of movement in the summer breeze
