Mick Jagger

Nicknamed ‘Rubber Lips’ due to his endowed mouth, Mick is one of the most charismatic rock vocalists emerging from the 1960’s.  Still performing on stage today his band ‘The Rolling Stones’ have split and reformed more than once.  Mick has turned to acting on a number of occasions starring in some diversely generic films.  He made his directorial debut with the film ‘Enigma’ starring Kate Winslet and Dougray Scott which told the story of the unsung heroes of World War Two, the code breakers of Bletchley Park. I was drawn to this image because of the similarity of dress to the style of the late 19th Century, a period that has always intrigued me.
